The Smokies Three-Day Itinerary

Day One

 

Arrive in Townsend and check in.

River Rat Tubing (summer)

Heritage Center ( cooler weather or rain)

Burger Master for dinner

Cades Cove - Stop at Dan Lawson’s for sunset and fireflies

 

Day Two

 

Dollywood ( go early and stay till 2 or 3)

Early dinner at Huck Finn’s

Goats on the Roof for dessert

Take Missing Link home - stop for views and pics

Alternative:

Early start on Cades Cove Loop

Check schedule for vehicle-free days to bike

Bring snacks and binoculars

Back to Townsend for lunch and a rest

Heritage Center Historical Village or

Little River Railroad Museum

Take Missing Link to Huck Finn’s for dinner

Goats on the Roof for dessert

 

Day Three

 

Pancake Pantry Breakfast

Pick up donuts at Donut Friar for later

Walk the Gatlinburg Strip ( Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen)

Games at Fannie Farkles

Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum

Picnic at Chimneys or Mynatt Park

Back to Townsend for dinner
